Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01 - 02: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
    Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m) Flight arrival, visa processing, and trek briefing. Sightseeing in Kathmandu (optional).
  • Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj (150m)
    Take a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (hot and humid plains).
  • Day 04: Fly to Juphal (2,475m), Trek to Dunai (2,150m) – 3 hrs
    Scenic flight to Juphal, then a short trek to Dunai.
  • Day 5:: Trek to Ankhe (2,660m) – 5-6 hrs
    Follow the Thuli Bheri River and enter Shey Phoksundo National Park.
  • Day 6: : Trek to Sulighat (3,500m) – 6-7 hrs
    Steep climb through forests and waterfalls.
  • Day 7: : Trek to Phoksundo Lake (3,600m) – 4-5 hrs
    Reach the mesmerizing turquoise Phoksundo Lake.
  • Day 08: Acclimatization at Phoksundo Lake
    Explore nearby villages (Ringmo) and monasteries.
  • Day 09: Trek to Phoksundo Khola (3,700m) – 4 hrs
    Rugged trail along the lake and river.
  • Day 10: Trek to Phoksundo Bhanjyang (4,400m) – 7-8 hrs
    Challenging ascent to a high pass.
  • Day 11: Cross Kang La Pass (5,360m), Trek to Shey Gompa (4,500m) – 6-7 hrs
    One of the toughest days, crossing Kang La Pass into Crystal Mountain region. Day
  • Day 12: Rest Day at Shey Gompa
    Visit the ancient Shey Gompa (11th-century monastery).
  • Day 13: Trek to Namduna Gaon (4,400m) via Saldang La Pass (5,200m) – 6-7 hrs
    Another high pass crossing.
  • Day 14: Trek to Saldang (3,900m) – 4 hrs
    Descend to Saldang village.
  • Day 15: Trek to Yangze Gompa (4,900m) – 5-6 hrs
    Explore another remote monastery.
  • Day 16: Trek to Sibu (4,560m) – 6-7 hrs
    Remote trails with stunning mountain views.
  • Day 17: Cross Jeng La Pass (5,090m), Trek to Tokyu Gaon (4,240m) – 6-7 hrs
    Another high pass before descending to Tokyu village.
  • Day 18: Trek to Dho Tarap (4,090m) – 4-5 hrs
    Visit the Tibetan-influenced village of Dho Tarap.
  • Day 19-20: : Trek back to Juphal via Tarap Khola & Dunai
    Retrace steps through lower Dolpo.
  • Day 21: Fly from Juphal to Nepalgunj, then to Kathmandu
    Return flights to Kathmandu.
  • Day 22: Departure from Kathmandu
    Final departure or extension trips.
