Bheri River

Take a 1-hour flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. 3-4 hour scenic drive to Putalighat, the starting point of the rafting trip. Safety briefing, gear distribution, and practice session on the river. Set up riverside camp, enjoy dinner, and relax by the fire.

Start with gentle floats, passing through small rapids (Grade II-III). Stop at traditional Magar villages for cultural interactions. Lunch on the riverbank, then continue to bigger rapids like Little Brother and S-Bend. Set up camp near Ghatgaun, a peaceful riverside spot.

Enter the wilderness zone with Grade III-IV rapids (Jungle Corridor, Tiger’s Leap). Spot wildlife (crocodiles, deer, exotic birds) along the riverbanks. Evening jungle walk near Bardia National Park (optional). Overnight camping near the park.

Gentle morning float with Grade II-III rapids. Final take-out at Jamuwa Ghat, pack up gear.
1-hour drive to Bardia Jungle Resort for a hot shower and relaxation.
Optional: Evening Tharu cultural dance or jungle safari briefing.

Early morning jeep safari or elephant ride in Bardia National Park (chance to see tigers, rhinos, elephants). Return to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu (or extend your stay). according your interest and time available.
