Location and Origin, The Bhotekoshi River (also called Poiqu in Tibet) originates from the Zhangzangbo Glacier in the Tibet Autonomous Region and flows into Nepal, merging with the Sun Kosi River near Balephi, Sindhupalchowk 19. The rafting starting point is 3–4 hours from Kathmandu, accessible via the Arniko Highway (road to Tibet). Common put-in points include Lamosangu, Khadichaur, or Baseri, depending on the itinerary
