Mera Peak Climbing Expedition (6,461m) – 30 Days

This 30-day mountaineering adventure offers climbers the opportunity to summit Nepal's highest trekking peak, Mera Peak (6,461m), while traversing the challenging Amphu Lapcha Pass (5,300m) into the Everest region. Designed for adventurous trekkers with basic mountaineering experience, the expedition combines breathtaking Himalayan scenery with cultural immersion in remote valleys. The journey begins with a scenic approach through the lush Hinku Valley, followed by a carefully planned summit push and concludes with an exciting crossing into the Everest region.

Technical and Physical Requirements

The Mera Peak climb is classified as a non-technical ascent, though it does require basic mountaineering skills, particularly for the Amphu Lapcha Pass crossing. Summit day involves a moderate snow climb with 35-40° slopes where fixed ropes are typically employed. Participants should be in excellent physical condition, capable of sustained hiking for 5-7 hours daily with significant elevation gain. We recommend at least three months of targeted preparation including cardiovascular training, strength conditioning, and altitude simulation hikes. Our guides provide comprehensive training in ice axe and crampon techniques at base camp to ensure all participants are properly prepared for summit day.
