This trek is a non-technical adventure, suitable for individuals with moderate fitness levels and a passion for exploration. The itinerary is designed to ensure gradual acclimatization, minimizing the risk of altitude sickness. However, we recommend assessing your altitude fitness and reviewing the trek details beforehand.

We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable.
Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to made during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
As the trek is designed for camping arrangement, everything is handled by our team of porters, sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, assemble and dissemble the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break.

Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01: : Drive to Shyabrubeshi (1,966m) – 175 km (approx. 7 hrs).
    Depart Kathmandu early morning for a scenic drive through Trishuli Valley. Follow the winding roads alongside the Trishuli River, passing traditional villages and terraced farmland. Arrive in Shyabrubeshi, a gateway to the Langtang region, and settle into your lodge. Overnight: Shyabrubeshi
  • Day 02: : Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m) – 6-7 hrs.
    Begin your trek through lush forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and pine. Follow the Langtang Khola (river), crossing suspension bridges and small settlements. Gradual ascent to Lama Hotel, a resting point surrounded by serene wilderness. Overnight: Lama Hotel
  • Day 03: : Trek to Langtang Village (3,100m) – 6-7 hours
    Continue ascending through dense forests, with occasional glimpses of snow-capped peaks. Pass through Ghoda Tabela (horse stable), an old army post. Enter the picturesque Langtang Valley, heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake but now rebuilt. Arrive at Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang settlement with stunning mountain views. Overnight: Langtang Village
  • Day 04:: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (4,060m) – 3 hours
    Short but rewarding trek through yak pastures and glacial moraines. Visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery surrounded by towering peaks. Explore the village and enjoy panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and other Himalayan giants. Overnight: Kyanjin Gompa
  • Day 05: : Excursion to Tsergo Ri (5,033m) & Return to Kyanjin Gompa
    Early morning hike to Tsergo Ri, one of the best viewpoints in the region. Challenging but rewarding climb with 360° views of the Langtang range. Descend back to Kyanjin Gompa for a well-deserved rest. Overnight: Kyanjin Gompa
  • Day 063:: Day 06: Trek Back to Lama Hotel – 6-7 hours
    Retrace your steps down the valley, enjoying different perspectives of the landscape. Descend through forests and riverside trails to Lama Hotel. Overnight: Lama Hotel
  • Day 07:: Trek to Syabru Gaon – 5-6 hours
    Take a different route towards Syabru Gaon, a charming village with traditional houses. Steep climb through terraced fields, with views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges. Overnight: Syabru Gaon
  • Day 08:: Trek to Sing Gompa (3,254m) – 5-6 hours
    Ascend through dense forests of oak, fir, and rhododendron. Reach Sing Gompa, known for its cheese factory and tranquil monastery. Enjoy sunset views over the Himalayas. Overnight: Sing Gompa
  • Day 09: : Trek to Gosainkunda (4,000m) – 5-6 hours
    Gradual climb towards the sacred Gosainkunda Lakes, a major pilgrimage site. Pass through Laurebinayak before reaching the pristine alpine lakes. Explore the area and witness the stunning Gosainkunda Lake, surrounded by snow peaks. Overnight: Gosainkunda
  • Day 10: : Rest Day in Gosainkunda
    Optional short hikes to nearby viewpoints or meditation by the lakes. Experience the spiritual significance of this holy site for Hindus and Buddhists. Overnight: Gosainkunda
  • Day 11:: Cross Laurebinayak Pass (4,600m) to Gharepati – 6-7 hours
    Challenging but exhilarating day crossing the Laurebinayak Pass (4,600m). Spectacular views of the Himalayas before descending to Gharepati. Overnight: Gharepati
  • Day 12:: Trek to Kutumsang (2,470m) – 5-6 hours
    Descend through forests and terraced fields to Kutumsang, a peaceful village. Overnight: Kutumsang
  • Day 13:: Trek to Chisapani (1,976m) – 6-7 hours
    Final trekking day through lush hills and small settlements. Reach Chisapani, offering a last glimpse of the Himalayan panorama. Overnight: Chisapani
  • Day 14:: Trek to Sundarijal & Drive to Kathmandu – 3 hrs trek + 1 hr drive
    Short descent through Shivapuri National Park to Sundarijal. Drive back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your adventure.

Package Includes

  • Airport Transfers Pickup/drop-off at Kathmandu Airport (TIA) by private vehicle.
  • Land Transportation Chartered vehicle from Kathmandu → Dhunche (trek start) and Sundarijal → Kathmandu (trek end).
  • Permits & Fees Langtang National Park Entry Permit (~USD 25). Shivapuri Wildlife Conservation Entry Fee (required for Sundarijal exit).
  • .Staff & Support Experienced trekking guide (licensed by Nepal Government). Porters (1 porter per 2 trekkers, max 15kg baggage per trekker).
