Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
    Flight: 35 min from Kathmandu to Lukla Trek: 3-4 hours (easy descent) Highlights: Scenic flight, first views of the Himalayas, walk along the Dudh Koshi River
  • Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
    Trek: 5-6 hours (steep ascent) Highlights: Suspension bridges, first glimpse of Everest (weather permitting), entrance to Sagarmatha National Park Acclimatization: Spend two nights in Namche to adjust to altitude
  • Day 03 : Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
    Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum Explore local markets and bakeries
  • Day 04: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)
    Trek: 5-6 hours Highlights: Stunning views of Ama Dablam, visit Tengboche Monastery (largest in Khumbu)
  • Day 05: Trek back to Namche Bazaar or Monjo (2,835m)
