Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
    Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Briefing with the climbing team and gear check. Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Day 02: Drive to Chame (2,670m) – 8-9 hrs
    Scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chame via Besisahar. Follow the Marsyangdi River, passing waterfalls and terraced fields. Overnight in Chame.
  • Day 3: Trek to Pisang (3,300m) – 5-6 hrs
    Ascend through pine forests with views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Reach Pisang, a traditional village with stunning mountain vistas. Overnight in Pisang.
  • Day 4: Trek to Manang (3,540m) – 5-6 hrs
    Traverse arid landscapes with panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Barge Monastery, the largest in the region. Acclimatization and exploration in Manang. Overnight in Manang.
  • Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Manang
    Optional hike to Gangapurna Lake or Ice Lake (4,600m). Learn about altitude sickness prevention. Overnight in Manang.
  • Day 6: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,050m) – 3-4 hrs
    Gradual ascent to higher altitudes, spotting blue sheep and yaks. Short trek to aid acclimatization. Overnight in Yak Kharka.
  • Day 7: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,450m) – 3-4 hrs
    Steep climb to Thorong Phedi, the base before Thorong La Pass. Rest and prepare for the high-altitude crossing. Overnight in Thorong Phedi.
  • Day 8: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) & Trek to Muktinath (3,800m) – 7-8 hrs
    Early morning ascent to Thorong La Pass for sunrise views. Descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site. Visit Muktinath Temple and explore the village. Overnight in Muktinath.
  • Day 9: Rest & Preparation Day in Muktinath
    inal gear check and climbing briefing. Short acclimatization hike around Muktinath. Overnight in Muktinath.
  • Day 10: Trek to Thorong Peak Base Camp (4,800m) – 4-5 hrs
    Ascend towards the base camp, setting up tents near the glacier. Climbing training and preparation. Overnight at base camp.
  • Day 11: Summit Thorong Peak (6,144m) & Return to Base Camp – 10-12 hrs
    Pre-dawn start with a steep climb on snow and ice. Roped ascent with fixed lines where necessary. Summit views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Mustang ranges. Descend to base camp for overnight stay
  • Day 12: Reserve Day for Contingency
    Buffer day in case of unfavorable weather or additional acclimatization needs.
  • Day 13: Trek to Jomsom (2,720m) – 5-6 hrs
    Descend through the Kali Gandaki Valley, the world’s deepest gorge. Celebrate the successful climb in Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.
  • Day 14: Fly to Pokhara (820m) – 25 min
    Scenic flight with views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Relax by Phewa Lake and explore Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
  • Day 15: Drive/Fly Back to Kathmandu
    Return to Kathmandu, with time for souvenir shopping. Farewell dinner with the team. Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Day 16: Final Departure
    Transfer to the airport for onward journey.
