The magnificent temple of Pashupatinath, situated approximately 5 km north east of Kathmandu is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu (established in 17th century). With a sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the bank of Bagmati River, it is a sacred temple of deity, Lord Shiva. It is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. Non Hindu visitors are not allowed to enter inside the temple premises.

7 Kakani Day Tours

Kakani is one of the popular view points of Nepal. Only 26 km north east of Kathmandu, Kakani offers an astounding view of majestic Himalayas including Annapurna, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gaurishanker and a few peaks of Rowling Himal.

Kakani Hiking is interesting as we hike through oak, rhododendron and pine forest. The entire valley is surrounded by rhododendron forest and the tranquil environment in the immense beauty of nature is mesmerizing. Approx. 10:00 am head towards Kakani, one and a half hour drive from Kathmandu. On reaching the destination, we spend our day hiking and rejoicing the mesmerizing scenery and mountain views. 9.Trishuli River Rafting Day Tour

Trishuli River Rafting Day TourRiver Rafting has acquired the reputation of being one of the most exciting adventure sports. It is highly unlikely for an adventure lover not to become captivated by the thrills of river rafting. If you are someone who’s never been on a rafting trip, don’t worry, it’s never too late to treat in adventure sports. Trishuli river rafting offers first time rafters the opportunity to have a first hand experience of rafting in the white waters of Nepal.   

The first stop of the trip is Charaundi, a 3 hour journey from Kathmandu, situated at a distance of 85 kms.  From Charaundi, the group heads to the bank of the Trisuli river, where travelers are supplied with life jackets, helmets and other safety equipment. What follows next, is a brief safety lesson on the necessary precautions and what to do if you topple over the raft or find yourself in a necessity situation. It is important that rafters no matter how experienced they are pay complete attention to what the trip leader says. We have another 3 to 4 hours on the water and we get to run more 3 and 3 + rapids of the Trishuli. 

If you’ve never gone rafting, you are missing out on a lot of fun. We invite you to sample the joy of rafting in the white waters of the Trishuli River.

Details program
-Drive to rafting starting point at Charaundi 85 KM 3 hour, Early in the morning we travel by tourist coach to the west ward from Kathmandu to the raft put in point at Charaundi. The bus ride takes us out of the Kathmandu valley and through rice fields to the valley rim. From here the road drops dramatically around 800 meters in the village of Charaundi on the bank of the Trisuli River.

At the river everyone is fitted with a life jacket and helmet. Then the trip leader will give a safety talk on river safety, paddling technique and what to do if you suddenly find yourself not sitting in a raft anymore. We begin rafting in languid pleasurable fashion to get the feel of the motion on a raft. The riverside scenery is exhilarating. Overnight at tented camp, inclusive of full board meals.

Rafting ends at and drive back to Kathmandu or head to Chitawan or Pokhara.

10 Bhotekoshi River Day tour

The scenery in the route to Bhotekoshi is mind blowing. From the spectacular emerald fields to tea aced hillsides, large canyons to roaring waterfall, shimmering water of Sunkoshi to the astounding Himalayan views, the route has it all. Bhotekoshi also offers you with bungee jumping. Situated 160m over the wild Bhotekoshi River is the Nepal’s first bungee jumping site.  This remarkable 500ft (160m) drop into the Bhotekoshi River gorge on the Nepal/Tibet border is the longest free-fall in the world.

We take a trip to 95 Kms. east from Kathmandu is the starting point Lomosangu- Dam of the trip. This is a spectacular drive through villages and if weather permits, you will have Fantastic Mountain views i.e. Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, Langtang etc. We raft the about 14 Kms of the MOST exciting stretch of the river. Rafting ends at nearby Sukute beach then transport back to Kathmandu. Lunch Included.
