Island Peak Imja-Tse (6160m) with kalapatthar/Everest base camp trek (22 days)

We trek from Lukla to Kalapatthar having its great scenery and spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest. And then we return back experience with highlander Buddhist culture and the legends Yeti to Lukla and fly Kathmandu.

Your trekking preparation:
 
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not expected high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable.
Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to made during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
As the trek is designed for camping arrangement, everything is handled by our team of porters, sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, assemble and dissemble the camp and have lunch  waiting for you at every break.
   
Day to day itinerary
Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 02-03 Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu Valley with professional guide
Day 04 Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakdingma [2600m]- (approximate 4 hours)
Day 05 Trek from Pakding to Namche Bazaar [3440m]- (approximate 6-7 hours)
Day 06 Acclimatization day in Namche Day hikking in Khumjung and Everest view hotel for mounatin views back to Namche
Day 07 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche [3867m] (approximate 5 hours)
Day 08 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche [4200m] (approximate 5 hours) 
Day 09 A rest day in DIngboche  for acclimatization and hike to Chikhung ri and back to Dingboche.
Day 10 Trek from Dingboche  to Lobuche [4930m] ( approximate 6 hours) and 
Day 11 Trek from Lobuche to EBC and back to Gorakshep [5160m] (approximate 6-7 hours)
Day 12 Trek to Kalapattar [5545m] and trek back to Lobuche [4930m] (approximate 6-7 hours)
Day 13 Trek from Lobuche  to Chikhung [4970m] (approximate 6-7 Hours) In Camp
Day 14 Trek from Chukhung to Base Camp. (Approximate 4 hours)
Day 15 Ascent of island Peak High camp Island Peak [5600m] (approximate 4 hours) 
Day 16 Submit day of Island peak and back to base camp (Approximate 7-8 hours)
Day 17 Trek from Base camp to Dingboche [4310m] (Approximate 4-5 Hours)
Day 18 Trek from Dingboche to Phortse vellage  [3985m] (approximate 6-7 hours)
Day 19 Trek from Phortse to Khumjung [3790m] (approximate 4-5 hours)
Day 20 Trek from Khumjung to Pakding [2600m] (approximate 6 hours)
Day 21 Trek from Pakdingma to Lukla [2800m] (approximate 5 hours)
Day 22 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

The cost includes the following services:
