Breathtaking views of Annapurna range, picturesque Magar and Gurung (the brave Gurkhas) villages, romantic paddy fields, beautiful rhododendron forests, dramatic landscapes are the Major attraction of this trek.
Your trekking preparation:
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not expected high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable. Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however things can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to make during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
While the trek is designed for lodge to lodge arrangement, our professional mountain guide and porters handle everything. The meal will be provided in the available restaurant enroute and accommodations in the available lodges (with most of the days hot/cold shower) on the way.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu Valley with Private vehicle and tour guide
Day 03: Drive to Trishuli River (4 hr) for a day rafting tip. Arrive on the river and rafting for about 3 hours, and continue drive to Pokhara and overnight at hotel
Day 04: After Breakfast drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (40 Km north-west of Pokhara) by chartered bus and trek uphill to Tirkhedhunga-1577m (3-4 hr)
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani-2850m (6 hr)
Day 06: Excursion to Poon Hill-3200m and trek to Tadapani-2540m (6-7 hr)
Day 07: Trek to Chhumrong-1950m (5-6 hr)
Day 08: Trek to Dobang-2430m (6 hr)
Day 09: Trek to Deurali-3000m (6-7 hr)
Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp-4000m (5-6 hr)
Day 11: Excursion around Annapurna Base Camp
Day 12: Trek back to Himalaya Hotel-2700m (5-6 hr)
Day 13: Trek to Chhumrong (5-6 hr)
Day 14: Trek to Ghandrung village-1940m (6-7 hr)
Day 15: Rest at Ghandrung village
Day 16: Trek to Pothana-1630m (5-6 hr)
Day 17: Trek ends at Suikhet Phedi and drive back to Pokhara
Day 18: Drive from Pokhara to the Royal Chitwan National Park, pick up from Chitresari and transfer to Fewa Wildlife Resort
Day 19: Full day wildlife activities such as Elephant back safari, Jungle walk, Canoeing, Bird watching, Culture program etc.
Day 20: After all jungle safari activities drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu by tourist bus .
Day 21: Full day free in Kathmandu.
Day 22: Transport to the airport and fly out
